Photography

I bought my first SLR camera—an Olympus E-330—in my early twenties. I've upgraded steadily over the years and now shoot with Canon's EOS R3.

I was lucky as a foreign correspondent to travel and photograph many of the world's most unique people, places, and events.

I now live a calmer life—and photograph generally far happier moments in people's lives.

I'm currently working with Faride Mereb, a Venezuelan designer based in New York, on a photo book chronicling Venezuela's crisis. I'll eventually put photos online in a dedicated gallery. Here's a small selection in the meantime.
